Issue:
Virtual Reality is often isolating. Nintendo's brand is all about bringing people together. How can we reconcile these two things?
Design:
The Nintendo Beam combines a small 1000 lumen projector with a contact charging base to create an seamless shared experience.




Nintendo prioritizes community, which allows them to make some of the biggest games in the world. If they wanted to capitalize on this shift in gaming, how might Nintendo bring more people together in the world of VR?
I landed on a rounded, friendly design that would encourage both community and seamless ease of use through contact charging and a compact projector.
